This will give you the opportunity to see how persuasive your thesis and arguments are, as well as several things you can do in addition to improve your work. In return, you will give feedback to two other peers. For that purpose, please consider the following instructions: • Read through the textbook’s pp. 9-10, 125 to learn what a “laugh test” is. • In the Discussion Forum which is designated for this activity, submit a summary, or just an initial version of your Preliminary Report including your topic, the- sis, coded categories and arguments, short introduction to the theories and re- search methods you are intended to apply in your project, and possible ethical issues that may arise in the course of your inquiry. • The length of your post should not exceed 300 words. • In a brief written announcement preceding the summery of your Preliminary Re- port, encourage two of your peers to give you written feedback about your post. Make sure that your reviewers understand that you want honest, objective, and constructive criticism, and not just good encouraging words boosting your confidence. • In turn, give written feedback to two peers by your choice, different from those from which you would receive feedback.
