(1)Review module 3 and 4 to refresh your knowledge on conceptual frameworks, how to create them, and how to do research or find information.
(2)Complete the attached outline to help you organize your ideas (optional).
(3)Create your own conceptual framework for analyzing social movements or create a visual representation of an existing framework used to analyze social movements. Avoid using a visual framework that has been provided in class. However, you may choose to create a visual based on existing frameworks from class readings.
(4)Please note the plural (social movementS) in the previous item. Your framework should not represent a single social movement. Instead, it must be a tool that could be used to analyze the traits, characteristics, or development of many different social movements (what it analyzes will depend on its focus). A visual framework that focuses on a single movement will receive a failing grade and you will have to re-do the assignment in order to be able to use it for the final assignment.
(5)Complete a report to hand in. Your assignment should include a graphic representation of the framework (a picture or visual) as outlined in step 3. It should also include short descriptions of the key words and central concepts that your framework will include, and a brief explanation of how the framework helps conceptualize cult activity.
