Is Canada a meritocracy?
In your determination, you are expected to apply research on social mobility from your textbook which address issues related to social inequality in Canada.
Regarding expectations related to word-count, late marks, references and works cited:
o For every 10 words over the word count, you will be deducted 2% off your total final grade for this assignment.
• Late assignments will be accepted up to 5 days after the due date but will receive a 5% deduction for each day the assignment is late.
o Assignments will not be accepted more than 5 days late.
• In terms of references, you are expected to draw upon and cite at the textbook to support each point/argument that you make. You are welcome to introduce additional resources.
• You are free to use any referencing style you prefer (MLA, APA, etc.). However, make sure that you are consistent throughout.
