SAFETY EVALUATION ASSIGNMENT - Please open the Safety Evaluation Assignment in the attachment to view instructions AND pictures For this task, please look at the pictures below to evaluate. Make sure to use the number of your picture when you write your assignment or copy and paste the picture above your answer. Step 1: For EACH picture: Identify the area/areas where the equipment in your images may not be safe. Write these down in a list. Identify at least 2 areas of concern. List some ways you could improve or fix the problems in your images and list these ideas down. Use one citation from your text to support one of your solutions.
Step 3: Scenario You are going on a field trip with 6 pre-school aged children to the local splash park. List at least 4 safety considerations you would make while planning the trip and discuss ways you could attempt to mitigate these so that your trip is safe. Step 4: Your older infant room (12- 18 months) love to climb as they are learning this skill. Consider environments that you could create which are safe and allow for climbing. Provide 2 specific examples of what ideas you could implement inside to allow for safe climbing. Grading Criteria Playground images are carefully analyzed and potential hazards are listed with reasons as to why these might be unsafe. Improvements clearly demonstrate awareness of safety in ELCC environments.
