This assignment requires you to critically engage with the readings from one class of the course (from class 3 to class 11, inclusive). Your response should be organized into three paragraphs:
1) In your first paragraph, you should identify and briefly summarize the main arguments of the readings.
2) In the second paragraph, you should consider the readings in relation to each other. For instance, you could consider: what connections can be drawn between the readings? How do the readings differ in their focus or methods? Do the readings complement each other? If there is only one reading for the class that you are focusing on, you should consider the reading in relation to another theme, topic, or reading from the course.
3) In the third paragraph, you should provide your own brief reflection on the readings. Some possible questions to consider are: were the arguments being made convincing? Did the readings raise issues that you were interested in? Did the methods used provide any particular insight? Did you agree with the authors? Or did you disagree? You can also identify one question that you have after engaging with the readings. Your discussion should be supported with examples from the readings.
