The large group awareness training means the training that is offered by some of the group members in terms of human potential. Using the LGAT techniques can increase self-awareness and bring changes in personal life. As per the opinion of DuMetron, "teaching simple, but often overlooked wisdom, which takes place over a few days, in which individuals receive intense emotionally focused instruction". It is a certain principle for training individuals with a cognitive theory which is the idea of changing their life by interpreting the external view of circumstances. It is focused on philosophical and physiological issues with some ethical sides and is related to increasing personal life effectiveness among people. As per Psychologist Dennis Coon's textbook Psychology: A journey dated that "LGAT is a program that claims to increase self-awareness and facilitate constructive personality change". It is mainly referred to activities which are performed by groups of people that work for a human potential movement. These activities help in building self-awareness and transformation in life. There are different definitions available for LGAT by different authors focusing on the similar idea.
A human potential movement is mainly focused on helping a normal person to achieve the full potential through an electronic combination of therapeutic methods and proper disciplines. The value of the movement's main includes tolerance of human nature necessity of honest communication in an interpersonal way and importance of living life with the full potential form and a spirit of being experimental and open to new experience. The role of human potential movement in large group awareness training is widely important as it helps in raising the consciousness of an individual. A large group of awareness training works in a group and a human potential movement late to using groups and teams for training the individuals. It provides a holistic approach to a healthy and better life that is sympathetic and technical. There are five key points of the human potential movement that help in large group awareness training, that is- self-actualisation, where an individual focuses on achieving the full potential including creativity in normal life. The second factor is esteem well. An individual focuses on the feeling of prestige and feeling of accomplishment in life. The third one is love, and belonging, which is referred to the intimate relationship and friendship in life for the safety which refers to the security and safety of a person, and the fifth one is physiological which focuses on food, water, rest and warmth in life.
There are different key points by which large-group awareness training boosts human potential like-
Meditation- This can be defined as a process of relaxing concentration on the present moment of reality. It is done mainly to experience the situation where the mind is free from all thoughts. It is the analysis of religious techniques that Buddhists proposed.
Biofeedback- Biofeedback is a technique of mind and body involving visual and auditory feedback to train people to recognise the physical science and symptom of anxiety and stress like heart rate, muscle tension and body temperature. There are different types of biofeedback which focus on specific approaches like- respiratory biofeedback, galvanic skin response, bio pressure biofeedback, thermal biofeedback, electromyography and heart rate variability biofeedback.
Self-hypnosis- It is a direct method that alters the state of consciousness for particular individuals. It is used extensively in modern high North therapy for taking the form of hypnosis carried out by the new learning routine. It is important as it bots mindfulness and helps in reducing stress for dealing with the feeling of anxiety and self-confidence.
Relaxation technique- It is the process of decreasing individual stress, affecting the body and mind. It provides the process that can help one to handle everyday stress and handle long-term stress which is related to different health problems like heart disease and pain.
Visualisation- It is the process of engaging the mind with imagination to affect the changes of consciousness in one's life. It is a technique for creating an image in mind to connect with one's spiritual self.
Large group awareness training is important in boosting human potential. It works by following medication, biofeedback, self-hypnosis, relaxation technique, visualisation and yoga. By following the program, it becomes possible for in for individuals to be calm and less stressed about life and daily routines. It will help the individual to be surer about life and also will help in maintaining the balance between peace in life. Following biofeedback, the process that helps the individual to reduce physical and mental pain and control the body, which also helps in increasing human potential. Another technique of large group awareness training is the relaxation process which also helps in human potential by lowering body pressure slowing breathing rate improving physical and mental issues controlling stress and sugar levels and increasing blood flow by relaxing the muscles, also known as one of the most effective process. By following the techniques of a large group awareness program, one can successfully gain the capacity to improve themselves to live a better life.

It will help the individual to be surer about life. Being kind is another way of increasing human potential. Most people since the word potential by definition but it can be well understood by developing self-compassion and pride in the work the individuals are following. And the most important way to boost human potential is by following Maslow's hierarchy of needs which are- self-actualisation, self-esteem, love and belonging, safety and physiological needs.
