Assess and enhance your leadership and management skills

You are to actively assess your present leadership and management skills and then actively engage in the development, planning, participation and execution of leadership activities that will enhance and close the skills gap in your leadership capabilities.

You are to critically assess your existing leadership and management capabilities using a range of academic and theoretical models in order to identify your leadership strengths and weaknesses. You are to then develop and plan a range of leadership and management development activities to address any specific weaknesses and extend and enhance any existing strengths. You will build a supporting e-portfolio of evidence outlining activities and events that your led or participated in that will inform and support your 1,000-word self-reflection report.

Construct an e-portfolio of personal development activities, evidence and self-reflection.

Excellent development, planning and execution of leadership and management skills using a range of innovative activities

Excellent selfevaluation of the models and concepts with an extensive comparison of theory to practice. Excellent explanation of the current context supported by critical application.

Presents partial selfevaluation of the models and concepts with minimal comparison of theory to practice. The work is largely descriptive. Limited attempt made to explain the current context, and superficial application.
