MPM7001 Project Management Theory and Practice

Note: This Written Component contributes 70% of the Module’s overall Mark/Grade. This assessment is to be done individually.

Read the case study  about Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner (attached). You are to produce an Individual Report applying Project Management principles and domains based on the PMI’s (Project Management Institute) Knowledge Areas, and answer the following questions: 

1. Critically evaluate the development of the 787 Dreamliner, what are some of the unique factors in this project that make it so difficult to accurately monitor and control.
2. What do you see as the critical issues that appear to be causing the majority of the project delivery and quality problems?
3. Based on your findings make recommendations for senior management and support your answers with the relevant literature.
