The second piece of group coursework requires students to pitch (develop and justify) a social campaign for an e-business based on a customer journey evaluated in the first individual report. This pitch will be in the form of a 5-minute PowerPoint presentation to be viewed by the Senior Management of the e-business. So, no video is required.
It is critical that the customer journey that students evaluated in the first assignment is comprehensive enough to help them to identify appropriate promotional channels for their chosen e-commerce business.
1.You will be required to develop and submit a short PowerPoint presentation of your pitch, outlining your campaign, in which you will evaluate and recommend your selected channels for promoting services or products of an e-commerce organisation of your choice.
2.The presentation should be timed to last 5 minutes (within reason)
3.You are required to submit a group PowerPoint presentation slides, accompanied by a notes added in the “ADD NOTES” Tab of what would be said for each slide.
CONSTRUCTION OF PRESENTATION
There are no absolutely fixed rules. If you are feeling ambitious and confident you can be as original and entertaining as you wish. However following some simple rules is the easiest way to achieve very good marks.
Have a title page
• Have a presentation in sections with each section being clear and properly titled, consistent with each other
• (pass on from one section to the next)
• Each section should contain good references and should support a strong central argument about the campaign you are proposing
• Conclude with a summary of your main recommendations (and justifications if appropriate).
• Then a page with references
• Then the final credits
REMEMBER YOUR AUDIENCE
This is to the Senior Management of your chosen company “Speak” appropriately- correct tone don’t educate them about their own org.
Creating to a brief is an essential skill. In this case the presentation must be within the range of 4:30 and 5:00
