PESTLE and Micro/Macro Environmental Analysis of a Company

Part 01 – Macro Environment

• You will need to carry out a complete PESTLE analysis of the company that you have been allocated, as a group, for Part 01 of your 3-Part Individual Report, i.e. Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal and Environmental / Ethical factors.

• Along with a cover page, table of contents, introduction, breakdown of the analysis of the report, you also need to include at the end of your report, a summary and a bibliography A - Z Harvard style.

• All hard copy submission to be printed as single sided not double sided, to make marking and review of feedback easier.

• You do not need to carry out a full SWOT analysis. You need to look at the micro environment factors of your allocated company, by investigating the opportunities and threats parts [only] of the SWOT for your micro environmental analysis, for Part 02 of your 3-Part Individual Report.

• You also need to analyse the other External Organisational aspects of the Business that you deem as being most important, as part of the Micro Environment analysis, for the Company that you have been allocated, for Part 02 of your 3-Part Individual Report.

• Additionally, you could consider those elements of a ‘Porters Five Forces’ analysis, that you would deem as being most important, as part of the Micro Environment analysis, for the Company that you have been allocated, for Part 02 of your 3-Part Individual Report, i.e. areas such as: Competition, Media, Customers, Suppliers, Stakeholders, Shareholders, Research and Development [R & D], Recruitment and Selection [externally], Technology, Manufacturing, Logistics, Banks, Employees, Distributors, Trade Unions, Public, Marketing Intermediaries, and Workers & their teams to name a few, including the Opportunities and Threats of the Company. Please only select and pick those elements that are specific to your particular organisation and that are relevant.

• Along with a cover page, table of contents, introduction, breakdown of the analysis of the report, you also need to include at the end of your report, a summary and a bibliography A - Z Harvard style.

• You will need to carry out the remaining elements of a SWOT analysis, by looking at the strengths and weaknesses parts [only] of the SWOT for the internal organisational environmental elements of your allocated Company, for Part 03 of your 3-Part Individual Report. You also need to analyse the other Internal Organisational aspects of the Business that you deem as being most important, as part of the Internal Organisation / Environment analysis, for the Company that you have been allocated, for Part 03 of your 3-Part Individual Report.

• Therefore, you should only consider those elements of your particular Company’s Internal/Organisation Environment, that you would deem as being most important, as part of the Internal/Organisation Environment analysis, for the Company that you have been allocated, for Part 03 of your 4-Part Individual Report, i.e. areas such as: Organisation Direction, Funding and Innovation, Human Resources, Employees, Training and Development, Recruitment and Selection [internally], Marketing, Technology, Manufacturing, Research and Development [R & D], Logistics, Materials, Machinery, Capital Assets, Company Policy, Company Procedures, and Current Processes, including the Strengths and Weakness of the Company. Please only select and pick those elements that are specific to your particular organisation and that are relevant.

• You also need to look at past, present, and future strategy, of the company that you have been allocated, for Part 03 of your 3-Part Individual Report.

• Along with a single cover page, with one overall table of contents at the beginning of the report, you will still need a cover page introducing each section of your 3-Part Individual Report, an introduction section for each part of the 3-part report, a breakdown of the analysis of the report for each of the
sections of your 3-Part Individual Report, summaries for part 01, part 02, and you also need to include at the end of your report, a summary for part 03, along with an overall Conclusion, and four separate bibliography lists at the end of the 3-Part Individual Report, for each of the sections referenced in A -
Z Harvard style.
