Assignment task

1. Your task is to write a 1,500 word essay (+/- 10%) demonstrating how studying ‘ways of learning about the social world’ can help us understand TWO of the following:

 (a) Drawing on key concepts and (b) real world experiences:

7. Crime  

8. Refer to the relevant key concepts and theory discussed throughout the module

9. Use Harvard style of referencing in your in-text referencing and reference list.

This assignment has been designed to provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your achievement of the following module learning outcomes:

Task requirements

1. All work to be submitted as Arial 12 font with 1.5 line spacing.

2.  Written work must state the total number of words used at the end of the essay [before the reference list]. The format will be: (Word count: 1,502).

3. Work you submit for assessment must be properly referenced using Harvard style referencing.

Submission date and time

This assignment should be submitted before 14:00 UK time on submission date.

Work that is submitted up to 10 working days beyond the submission date will be accepted as a late submission. Late submissions will be marked and the actual mark recorded, but will be capped at the pass mark (typically 40%), provided that the work is of a passing standard. Work submitted after this period will not be marked and will be treated as a non-submission.
