In this assignment you will be critically analysing the corporate implementation of sustainability policies and reflecting on how their values align to your current employability profile.

You must pick from one of these 6 companies:

1. Patagonia
2. pela
3. Passenger Clothing
4. A good company
5. Starbucks
6. Unilever

Part a.

 

As an introduction, carry out an analysis of your chosen company. Identify how this company has embedded sustainability and ethical practice into their
forthcoming corporate objectives. 500 words

 

Part b.

 

In order to highlight your current personal characteristics (and employability profile) complete at least two personality tests reviewed in your workshops (Belbin Team roles, Myers & Briggs, Skills Audit, Emotional Intelligence etc.).

These will identify your personal employability strengths and weaknesses. Use these to complete a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis of your skills and competencies.

All parts of the above must be submitted as part of your assignment Appendices.

 

Part c.

The second part of the main text is focussed on your personal characteristics:

i) Select one of your strengths and link this to the ethical and sustainable objectives of your chosen company. Outline how your strength would link and enhance the company’s actions to the achievement of the SDG 2030 agenda. 500 words 

ii) Select two weaknesses and reflect upon how your skills and competencies can be developed to achieve the ethical and sustainable objectives of your chosen company, with reference to the achievement of the SDG 2030. 1,000 words 

 

All elements must be supported by academic underpinning.

Where possible identify links to relevant SDG’s throughout your portfolio.
