Wilmont’s is a fictional top?ranked U.K. retail pharmacy company based in Milton Keynes with more than 1,000 stores nationwide and employing more than 4,000 people overall.  The company has engaged in several innovative business practices, and now they are once again secretly considering breaking ground with an even newer concept—delivering prescriptions and drugstore items by flying drones.

The concept is not new—a small firm named DroneTech in Cambridge announced the approach in March, and they are looking to develop a relationship with pharmacies nationwide to launch the concept for real. Wilmont’s may be the big break they are looking for!  

Your group members are the project risk assessors for Wilmont’s internal IT department, and you have all

been assigned by your CIO, James Connor, to assess the projects risk in terms of the information systems that will be needed to support the initiative and produce a Project Risk Assessment Report.  The group is required to evaluate the project risks associated with the use of Drones to deliver prescriptions, in particular include risks such as data ethics in relation to data privacy and other cyber security risks.  

The following outlines what students need to do to complete this assignment successfully:

1. Agree and distribute the report sections between the individuals in the group.

2. Each individual to contribute to all report sections by completing their Individual assessments in tutorials and uploading their completed Individual Assessment Tutorial Sheets (IA1 – IA5) in the Groups Graded Discussion Board

3. Produce a final group report with the following report sections that includes the following as a minimum:

a. Section 1 = An introduction to the project and a background of Wilmot business strategy and vision, an explanation of the areas of uncertainty in the project and a explanation of general risks in the project

b. Section 2 = An analysis of the stakeholders in the projects and their attitude to the areas of uncertainty and general risks in the project

c. Section 3 = A risk management plan for the project

d. Section 4 = Identified risks, one stakeholder allocated as a risk owner for each risk, explaining why that stakeholder is assigned to own the risk

e. Section 5 = A qualitative risk assessment for each identified risk from the risk owner’s perspective

4. Each report section structured to include:

5. An analysis of secondary data (practical case studies) and project management theory relevant to the section

6. a critique theory and practice

7. a conclusion and recommendations

8. correct and consistent citation and reference all sources

9. The report presentation and standard of writing must follow the UHBS guidelines below

10. This is a group assignment, and the groups size should be 5 - 6 students.

12. A written business professional report making maximum use of tables, diagrams, graphs, charts and appendices (which are not included in the word count)

13. Completed and uploaded individual assessment tutorial sheets in the group graded discussion board

14. Additional evidence of contribution and collaboration in the group graded discussion board

15. All filenames should be in the following format: _CW1.

16. Only one student should submit the final group report on behalf of the group in Canvas

17. Every students must evidence their contribution and collaboration to the group work in the group graded discussion board

18. The title page of the report should include the group name, student ids of all group members, the word count and the Turnitin similarity score.

19. All references should follow the Harvard style of referencing.
