This report use MACs framework to analyze follow the requirements ( I choose apple company ).

I have attached you the assignment brief and requirements which there are many helpful information on it.

You can follow the guidelines. I also attached you the Net Sales graph which I did myself, you can put it in the report and explain it together with the informations from the annual report that I also attached.

Instructions:

The assignment requires students to use market-activated corporate strategy (MACS) as the theoretical framework to critically assess how a chosen case increases and extracts value.

(a) The assignment is an Academic Essay, not a business report. We expect students to apply MACS to a case firm.

(b) The word count is [3000 (-/+10%)] and excludes references. Diagrams and figures would be counted as 10 words.

c) Students who rely extensively on websites, and more importantly, on materials from websites such as Quickmba.com, Investopedia, Wikipedia, etc. to develop their essays would be penalised!

d) Zero tolerance for plagiarism.

Marking Criteria

In marking the script, we shall pay particular attention to the following five criteria (listed in order of importance).

1. Quality of research questions, arguments, and structures: are there research questions, arguments, and sound structures?

2. Framework and case: whether it follows Porter’s theoretical framework and extent to which the questions have been answered to include, the scope of the answer (depth and breadth) and reasoning; and whether the questions are answered in sufficient details within the limits of the word count.

3. Critical analysis: critical use and manipulation of a theory and data (all being of particular importance in the assignment) to explore strengths and weaknesses, to support your analysis with valid evidence in a logical manner, or simply to highlight the judgement you exercise.

4. Style, to include clarity of expression, organization and structure.

5. Presentation, to include all aspects of referencing, citation, bibliography, and layout (and other aspects identified in the assessment rubric).
