Students will work in groups of 5-6 to develop a stakeholder analysis, stakeholder register, stakeholder engagement plan, project team organizational structure with roles and responsibilities, and human resource management plan.
This report is worth 25% of the final course grade. 

Group project report instructions are as follows:

1.Select an applied project being worked on by one of your team members. Engineering case study. 

2.Describe the project environment.

3.Identify key stakeholders on the applied project and conduct a stakeholder analysis using the stakeholder analysis model of your choice.

4.Build a stakeholder register complete with the following information:

a.Stakeholder name
b.Position in the organization
c.Department
d.Role in the project
e.Key expectations
f.Potential level of influence (high, medium or low)
g.Influence type (supporter, resister or neutral)
h.Classification (internal or external)
i.Notes (provide any comments or concerns you have regarding the stakeholder)

5.Create an organizational chart of the project team. Determine if the organizational structure is functional, matrix or projectized and explain.

6.Describe each project team member’s role and responsibilities, and key skills.

7.Perform a stakeholder engagement analysis and identify stakeholder engagement strategy for each stakeholder.

8.Identify seven (7) key human resource, communication or stakeholder challenges that either did occur, could occur or could have occurred on this project, with any of the stakeholders (including the project team), the environment, the organization structure, the method of staffing the project or other.
