Assignment 1: Profile Yourself as an Entrepreneur

In your text and in class, we talked about the characteristics of an entrepreneur. We concluded that entrepreneurs cannot be cloned or replicated. Nonetheless, you are going to have to find out if you have what it takes to make it in small business.

1. I want you to profile yourself. Do you really have an Entrepreneur type personality?

2. Next, interview (network with) at least two people who you know. One of these entrepreneurs must be a small business owner, related to horticulture area. For these persons you interview, you must also provide

a. name, address and telephone number

b. time, date and setting for interview

c. brief summary of each interview (one page).

3. Based on i. and ii. above, select and justify a possible start-up business opportunity which matches your entrepreneurial profile.
