Millennials tend to be functional communicators, while Generation X tends be personal communicators.
Smartphones are negatively impacting the company and employees are complaining about engagement and stress levels. Someone’s phone is constantly ringing and it’s disrupting the workplace. It is not just the employees, your cellphone costs are excessive and the report shows that 55% of the employees are using their smartphone for texting and surfing the internet while at work. You are also worried about cybercrime that could pose a threat to company information.
Communication policies and procedures haven’t been formalized. Your company is struggling with employees doing what they want and making ethical chooses for the business that your leadership team struggles with. You need to determine some business communication policies and standards that will work for your growing company.
