• Uses a minimum of five (5) academic sources

• Evidence of wide-ranging reading in the topic area

• References cited in the essay are relevant to the statement under consideration

• Essay conveys understanding of the references utilised (i.e. good use of paraphrasing ideas and not an over reliance on direct quotes)

Technical Issues (3 Marks)

• Clearstructure (i.e. introduction, body, conclusion)
• Logicalintegration of ideas, well presented and organised
• Appropriategrammar, punctuation and spelling
• Noevidence of plagiarism
• Professionalpresentation (size 12 font, 5 or double spacing, page numbers etc.)
