Details of Task:
One of the biggest issues that Asia is facing is an ageing population. Some Asian countries are already having to deal with this problem, while others could face significant challenges with regards to their economic growth in the near future. How can Asian economies overcome an ageing population? What opportunities are there for businesses? Discuss with the use of theory and real life examples.

Presentation requirements: Refer to the Q-Manual for presentation requirement for an academic essay. A minimum of 5 peer-reviewed academic journal articles must be utilised as references to develop and substantiate arguments presented in the essay.

Use of References (3 Marks) • Uses a minimum of five (5) academic sources • Evidence of wide-ranging reading in the topic area • References cited in the essay are relevant to the statement under consideration • Essay conveys understanding of the references utilised (i.e. good use of paraphrasing ideas and not an over reliance on direct quotes) |
