I have a project and I want you to do just a small part of it, which is to determine the truss member sizes required to resist the tensile and compressive forces acting on the truss members. And all the information that is needed is attached. This video link explains all the project but I don't want you to do all the project just calculate the truss member sizes. The design should be presented in an engineering report that clearly shows the analysis and results of your roof truss. The report should be well written, with proper grammar and engineering terminology. The report should be typand saved as a pdf file. The report shall be a maximum of 8 pages, including title page, page of citations, all drawings and sample calculations. The Appendedcalculationsare additional to the 8 pages. The written sections (introduction, specifications, and discussion) should be a maximum of 2 pages. The report State clearly the objectives of the project, including the design parameters given and the engineering objectives. Consider what makes a good engineering project; do the selected members adequately and efficiently resist the factored loads acting on the roof? For the analysis section, include a typed sample calculation for each step of your analysis from the final iteration: an internal force calculation, calculation of Tensile Resistance (Tr), and calculation of Compressive Resistance (Cr). Full calculations along with free body diagrams should be included as an Appendix and can be hand-written (except for the specified engineering drawings).
