TCP/IP Protocol: Technical Description and Investigation of DNS and UDP

The introduction should be one paragraph of between 150 and 250 words.  This will contain the topics you have chosen and a brief description of the Topic and the objective of the report.

This does not count as one of the 5 page limit

Limited to 5 pages. 1.5 line spacing using 12 point Times Roman font.

You may use up to 2 diagrams/tables/charts per topic. Diagrams/tables/charts used from an external source must be properly cited in the “References” section. You may of course make your own diagrams/tables/charts.

Apart from 1-2 sentence quotations properly cited, the bulk of the report body must be your own.  Do not copy text from external sources directly into the body of your report.

There are to be two Sections titled with the Topics you have chosen.

In these sections you will describe your chosen topics.  You need to explain the following:

What is its purpose? Detailed technical description of how it works and what it is used for. Additionally, you should describe some additional areas of investigation that might include, but are not limited to:

Technical limitations

Security and/or privacy concerns

Historical vs current use

Conclusion:

A description of any dependencies your topic needs to function.

Why this topic is important to the operation of the TCP/IP protocol.
