A key outcome of this course is that students be able to analyze a firm’s resources and capabilities for strategic leveraging to create a sustainable competitive advantage. With this in mind, students are challenged to individually examine an international business rivalry and explain (using the VRIO framework) why one firm outperforms another. 

Your report should include the following sections:

Company Name: Puma

Introduction: Provide some background and context. End introduction with a clear thesis that succinctly summarizes your key findings

Body: Body paragraphs will vary in length, but should each have a separate point that upholds your thesis. You may choose to separately analyze each business using the VRIO framework and use the body paragraphs to illustrate how each business does or does not demonstrate VRIO.
