Explain the Needs Analysis Process for Pool Operators and Employees

Read and examine the case Dirty Pools (page 32 of the 8edition) thoroughly and answer thequestions below:

1. Explain the needs analysis process using Figure 3.1 (p.83) in relation to the information andsituation described in the case. In other words, describe the concern, its importance, thestakeholders, and the information that can be obtained from a needs analysis. What are someoutcomes that might result from this process? Be sure to refer to the case in describing eachstep and the outcomes.

2. Consider what trainees might be expected to do after attending a standardized trainingprogram for pool operators and employees. Write a training objective and be sure to includethe four key elements a training objective. Also, consider the six categories in Bloom's taxonomy

of learning objectives (see Table 4.3 p.120).

3. What off-the-job (Table 5.1, p. 151) and on-the-job training methods (Table 6.1, p.180) will bappropriate and effective ways to train pool operators and their employees? Explain youranswer.
