Think of a project from your personal or work activities in which the work started to fall behind schedule and was in danger of being late. To do:
1.1 Fully describe the project in detail.
1.2 Describe its original timeline and how it began to fall behind schedule.
1.3 Using the theory of the course, what did you do to get the work back on schedule.
Describe how this action(s) contributed to getting the work back on schedule. Note: see pages 129 to 130 of the textbook for the relevant theory.

2. Chapter 12. Managing Disruptions to the Plan: Issues and Change
Think of a situation from your personal or work activities when a change was required from the original plan. To do:
2.1 Fully describe the situation in detail.
2.2 Using the theory of the course, describe each step of the change control process.
For each step, enter the relevant information from your situation.

3. Chapter 13. Managing the HR Aspects of the Project
Think of two situations from your personal or work activities when you needed to influence someone to do something but you did not possess legitimate power. For each of these situations:
3.1 Fully describe the situation in detail.
3.2 Using the theory of the course, describe the source of power that you used to influence
the other person. Note: each situation described should use a different source – that is,
do not use the same source for both situations.
3.3 Using the theory of the course, describe the influencing method that you used. Indicate
how the source of power contributed to the ability to influence.

Think of a situation from your personal or work activities where you purchased a product or
service from an organization (e.g. this could be a consumer product or some kind of service that
you needed to perform). To do:
4.1 Fully describe the situation in detail.
4.2 Using the theory of the course, describe each step of the Project Procurement process.
