1) Specify the type and show the schematic of the filters you will use and state why you are choosing this filter? Cite your references, even if it is the lecture notes, specify which page of which lecture note. For the style of citation, mimic the style of Wikipedia.
2) Specify the type and show the schematic of the Amplifier configurations you are using in the second and third stages, and state why you are choosing this configuration. Cite your references, even if it is the lecture notes, specify which page of which lecture note. For the style of citation, mimic the style of Wikipedia.
3) Come up with the component values for all the circuits you have chosen. You might have to assume a value for a component and then find other component values based on that assumption. State any assumption and the reason for that assumption clearly. For instance, if you need a time constant (RC) of 1ms, you would have to pick a value for the resistor like
1K? and based on this the capacitance is calculated as 1?F.
4) Don’t forget to specify the power supply value(s).
5) After you formed your circuits with their known component values, set all the potentiometers (variable resistors) at their mid?value and find the transfer functions of each sub?circuit (or block) and finally the transfer function of the entire system from the signal source to the output voltage. Assume an 8? resistance in place of the speaker, and remember that the OPAmps are ideal, and independent of frequency.
6) Also, draw the magnitude Bode plot and magnitude frequency response of the transfer functions for the three filters. Note: ONLY magnitude graphs are asked to be plotted.
