This assignment is designed to allow you to cover a broad range of knowledge that have acquired while studying Canadian Industrial Relations. The assignment allows for you to argue your opinion based on knowledge and objective evidence.
The final assignment requires that you answer the following 2 questions
1. Take a stance on the statement: âUnions are more important than ever for young workersâ. Do you agree or disagree? Why?
2. Has your opinion (in question 1) changed/altered/evolved throughout the course? Why or why not?
The entire answer should be 6-8 pages double spaced including title page and references. The majority of the answer should be based upon question 1. Question 2 should only require ½-1 page.
⢠Refer to outside research. Look for peer reviewed journals!
⢠Remember that this is an issue that covers that entire course so your answer must also span many of the topics that are covered (e.g different chapters and class discussions).
