mgmt7008 Operations Management

Introduction:

Throughout this course you have studied numerous aspects of Operations Management. As the final assignment in this course, you need to complete a reflection on the key concepts that you learned and how they could apply to the operations at Fanshawe College, specifically to the current pandemic.

Assignment:

This reflection needs to be 8-12 pages in length for the body of the paper. It will also include a title page, Table of Contents, and a reference page. Your personal reflection needs to include supporting materials from your text and other sources using APA 6^th edition.

The format of the reflection should follow a professional document that is double-spaced and utilizes 12 point, Arial font.  Graphics can be incorporated into the document and/or can be included as Appendices.

Your completed document must be submitted to the appropriate folder in FOL before the deadline.  Please see FOL for the date and time.

Sections:

A – What did you learn?

List, describe, and explain the 5 most important concepts that you learned in MGMT-7008.  Each concept should be well defined and it should be clear why you think it is one of the most significant concepts in this course.

B – How would you apply it to Fanshawe College’s operations?

Outline, analyze, and recommend the 1 way that each of the above concepts could be applied to the current operations at Fanshawe College.  Keep in mind that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a major direct impact on the way in which Fanshawe typically operates and that solving these challenges are necessary in order for students to return to campus in a future semester.

For clarity, you need to have at least 5 recommended ways that Fanshawe College can adjust their operations based on the 5 key concepts as outlined in Section A.
