What is the Media Review-Critique Assignment?

This media review-critique assignment (3 pages single spaced minimum) is worth 20% of your final mark and involves the following:
1.Choose an article provided by me, located in Blackboard and read. This will be your primary article. the
2.Write a summary with in-text citations of the article and provide your opinion on the article.
3.Review the opposing media article and write at least a paragraph on it. The opposing article is the one you didn’t choose to be your primary article to review and critique.
4.Develop a one or two sentence debate statement that captures your view on the topic after reviewing the articles.
5.Organization and Mechanics. Is the summary organized, pages numbered, reference page, grammar, title page, proper APA form.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Choose and read article.

Read Opinion 1 or 2 as handed out. One of the opinions will be your primary and the other will be your secondary.

Step 2 (What?) Write a summary: Summarize your Opinion article using in-text citations and provide an opinion of the article (3 pages single-spaced minimum).

Step 3 (So what?): Develop one debate statement (1 or 2 sentences).
