? Class notes, Cellphone and Smart Watch are not allowed.

 

? No break is allowed during this exam. Students are not allowed to exit the examination room before half of the allotted time has passed. Once a student has exited the classroom, he/she may not re enter.

This evaluation is worth 60 Marks, distributed as follows

 

Project Subject Outlines is worth 20 Marks and Presentation Contents (Related to Matrix College Project 4 Pillars) and Slides Design are (100 Points) 40 Marks for a total of 60 Marks.

Project Subject Outlines and Introduction

Course Project Subject Outlines is about researching, conceiving, conducting and executing team project presentation undertaken by students of Client Approach Services at Particular Organization, or Industry Elaboration and / or Startup. Course project is set around Global Supply Chain Management field of studies in order to let students develop skills and apply the concepts and principles of SCM with a focus on Teamwork practicing of Customers Relation, Business Communication and Contemporary Business Management with another relevantnnknowledge. The ultimate goal aims at going through a structured process which integrates key identified technical pillars. The identified technical pillars, figure 1, allow student to develop the know-how and excellence in core functions and supply chain activities that can achieve to the overall project success. Students, with expert knowledge by now in the customer service, can contribute to the scheme and organization of efficient and effective cross functional. There are four technical competencies’ pillars that Matrix College had elected for the students to demonstrate their knowledge, ability and capability.

 

The technical competences that SCM professionals across the Canadian supply chain community may elect to demonstrate the Four Pillars. The four pillars shall be considered as the basis of the student exploration; based on the theme selection, team may elect to selected one or more of the pillars indicated. As a team, need to develop a presentation, outlined below, explaining the process you have planned and the organization and / or startup company you have investigated  as a project. All student must upload their presentation on Lea (Omnivox). Use any PowerPoint Template of your choice.

Project Designated Team Activities

Assigned team leader will do the coordination among their team members and the same presentation template shall be used.  Cross teams’ collaboration is prohibited and if same presentation is spotted, it will result in zero mark. This is a 2-sections exam, a Project Subject Outlines and Presentation Contents & Design. The presentation shall be formatted in bullets points except the introduction and conclusion.  15 to 20 slides and shall be presented in 20 –25 mins. Make sure to add slide numbers. Each team member shall present their assigned slides.  Make sure no spelling error.


The presentation must be composed of the following elements

• Presentation Agenda or Journey


• Summary and/or Introduction


• Part 1 (Subject Outlines)


• Part 2 (Technical Pillar and Content)

Final Step


The final step is the presentation. In the final presentation and defense, the team will give a presentation (max. 20 minutes) on the project and research done and answer questions in the presence of the teacher. The teacher will assess the quality of the presentation and defense with the use grid, see grid next page. The mark for the final presentation and defense must be at least sufficient to pass the course.  You present the results, highlight the essential achievements of the study conducted in the Company or Startup and make recommendations. With sufficient hindsight, you evaluate the relevance of the study, the approach implemented, and the results obtained. The discussion with the teacher allows the clarification and deepening of your oral presentation. During the discussion, you can add new elements of explanation or of a nature to widen the perspectives of the debate.
