Education provides an ability of transforming the living standards of people. It helps on eliminating poverty from the lives of individuals. As a result, this project study will help on recognising the knowledge and skills that enhances societal standards and also imparts a sense of togetherness. It can also restructure the civic mindset of the citizens and also thrive a developmental approach towards several communities. Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is regarded as one of the famous metropolitan cities in Canada. Hamilton also comes under the region of GTA. Therefore, GTA helps on identifying the necessities required for structuring the education facilities and also maintaining the priorities according to the suitability of the situation. Accessibility to post secondary education has been one of the dominant policies for the Canadian government. However, there are several ways that will help on recognising the factors related to accessibility. Firstly, recognising a growth structure and measuring the system capacity according to the accommodation facilities. Secondly, recognising an equity-of-access model that will help focusing on the students and also provide equal amount of opportunities, thereby facilitating the system features of the post secondary system.
As I am a student, post secondary education will also provide a pathway on recognising the traits of GTA education system, especially focusing on the Hamilton city. This research topic will also help on filling the gaps that still exist in the education system of GTA. Previous research findings have depicted that the youth section are underrated and underrepresented considering the standards of post secondary education. However, it has also been observed that students belonging to low-income groups, indigenous groups, and disable groups get very less chance to participate in post secondary education programmes. As a result, the vision of this project study is to understand the utility of access programmes related to the post secondary education of Hamilton city.

Why is the youth section of GTA still underrepresented considering the facilities related to post secondary education?
Though the government organisations are taking several steps on providing access to the post secondary education facilities, it has been observed that student enrolment still dominates considering the development of educational standards. Funding is also dependent of the rewards and facilities on which the rate of student enrolment is high. However, beside all these, the youth section is highly underrated. As a result, government needs to increase financial support, lessen tuition charges, and also provide funding to institutions to maintain the support and recruitment of students.
