This is an individual assignment. Before you can get into the details of logistics and supply chain operations, you have to show that you understand what they are and how they have evolved. In this assignment you will briefly describe both what logistics and supply chains are, what their purpose is, and how they have emerged over time. Assignment Grading This assignment counts for 10% of your final course grade. It is graded according to this rubric. Assignment Instructions Review the definitions of both logistics and supply chains that we covered in the Module 1 material. From these, and the other Module 1 material, describe what these are and and what their purpose is. Next, review the history of how both have emerged over time. Using this, and research of your own, discuss how the need for them emerged and how meeting that need has evolved over time. When you are ready to submit your 500-700 word essay, ensure that you review its components against its grading rubric.
