Analyze and apply the scenario information to develop a care plan for your chosen scenario, following the provided steps.

Scenario 1
Ahmed, 21-year old male, discharged from the hospital yesterday after a one-week stay for a fractured femur and ankle. Ahmed was hang gliding when he lost control and fell. He is an international university student in his third year studying to be an engineer. His parents live in Somalia and he is an only child living with two roommates in an apartment in downtown Edmonton. He smokes shisha when he is with his friends. He is taking morphine for pain, and has no allergies and no past medical history.
Scenario 2
Maria is a 37-year-old single mom of two teenage children. Maria works two jobs to be able to pay the bills. Maria has two siblings that do not living in the Edmonton area. Maria picks up a lot of fast food for meals because of time and energy, because of this she has gained 20 pounds this past year. She is borderline type 2 diabetic. She does not sleep well at night due to worrying; she states it takes her a long time to fall asleep as she feels her life is very stressful.

Scenario 3
Edgar, 86 year old, fell off a loose back step and fractured his hip. He lives alone and until his accident did all his cooking and cleaning independently. Edgar is widowed, his wife past away a year ago and he has one daughter in the area. The daughter is married and has a young baby. Edgar feels very frustrated that he has to ask for help now. Due to his limited mobility, he does not leave the house very often, cannot go to see his friends, and is finding it difficult to cook his own meals. He finds himself ordering out and eating alone. Edgar misses his social and church life.

Step 1: Assessment

b. Include the following components:
i. Cause/Contributing factors/Etiology (related to)
ii. Signs and Symptoms/ Presenting evidence (as evidenced by)
The expected length is one sentence per diagnosis.
