ENT 56A Entrepreneurial Skills Development
Task
Building on the first assignment, identify several problems facing different kinds of users with whom you have strong connections, and some potential solutions to these problems.
Demonstrate your understanding of problems/solutions by talking to real people, outside of your immediate family and friends.
Note: you cannot simply do this assignment in your head – you really have to get outside of your comfort zone by engaging with other stakeholders in a substantive way. Document your actions with interview notes, secondary research, or other artifacts (e.g., pictures, screenshots) as appropriate. Capture your learning and insights using tools that demonstrate use of the course concepts, tools, and textbooks such as Customer Profile Canvas, Customer Journey Maps, POV tool, Value Maps, and Brainstorming. Prepare a portfolio describing three of your identified opportunities.
Choose one of the opportunities in your portfolio that most ignites your passion, has potential to add real value by solving a problem (as evidenced by your on-going primary and secondary research), and could be doable by students over the next year.
Using the tools and methods of this course, demonstrate an deep understanding of the chosen problem, and propose three possible approaches to solving the problem.
Describe how you currently have, or may acquire through your social capital connections, the resources you will need to exploit this opportunity.
