Description
In your groups, and with the same company, that you chose for your Group Project – Parts 1 and 2, continue your research and analysis of your chosen company. Using your Group Project – Part 2 report as a base, add additional sections and information to produce a new properly formatted business report, to reflect the new/additional course content and concepts we have discussed in class. Note: Your new report should also include any adjustments to the information in your previous report, based on feedback from your professor.
When you then complete Part 3, Part 3 will be “added on” to the document you submitted for Part 2. Your Table of Contents would also expand to now include the topics from Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. When you submit your Part 3 document, you will now have a complete strategy report covering all of the topics we have discussed in class that are relevant to your chosen company.
The items listed below should be considered prompts, not an exhaustive list, and are designed to help you with the completion of your report. Include any additional information that you think will add value to your report. You must demonstrate a high level of thinking and analysis, clarity of thought and overall organization and professionalism.
Some Things to Include and Consider:
· Any adjustments to previously reported content based on feedback from your professor (from your Group Project - Part 2 report)
· Research and examine how your chosen company uses various forms of data in their decision-making, including data from the following areas:
· Social media data and social listening practices
· Economic and market research data
· Service blueprinting data (if applicable – your company may not use service blueprinting as a tool and/or you may not find access to information on this topic)
· Any other various forms of data that you discover through your research that is applicable to your chosen company
· Research and examine how your chosen company practices corporate social responsibility, including the following areas:
· Charity work
· Green/ecological business practices
· Any other socially responsible business practices relevant to your chosen company
· Research and examine how your chosen company manages strategic change. What practices or processes do they use to help manage change within the organization to help ensure/increase the likelihood of success? (Note: As this is a topic that may not be widely publicized, there may not be as much information readily available for your company, so do the best you can with the information you have/can find).
· Since this is your final report, there should be a Conclusion or Summary section at the end of your report to finalize the report. In addition to a brief summary, this conclusion could include some brief commentary on immediate future plans (whether they are actual plans you’ve researched or some of your own recommendations based on your analysis thus far with the project).
