Requirements for Research Project Proposal

Description

Requirements

Your Research Project Proposal must be submitted as a .docx Word document to the correct assignment portal on Blackboard. Submissions inputted in other formats will be returned
ungraded and suffer late penalties. It should not be longer than 250 words, your draft intro should be double-spaced, and it should include APA citations for any source. Direct quotes must use quotation marks.

Description

Because your Research Project is worth 25% of your final grade, this assignment is meant to ensure that there are no issues with the scale, scope, approach, or sources you are planning to use. You are to submit a draft introduction that is between 150 and 250 words and an annotated bibliography that clearly identifies your three sources and explains why they are acceptable. We will discuss what sources are appropriate in Week 7 before the break. Please\see the assignment brief for Research Project Proposal for more information.
Your intro is a draft intro. I am not expecting that this will be unchanged on your final paper; what I want is a sense of what you think you will talk about in the paper. Do not worry about a ton about having everything be perfect; based on your research, give me a sense of what your focus and argument will be. This will allow me to give you feedback on your thesis statement, scope, and approach.

Your Reference list must include three sources. These should be scholarly sources unless you can justify the use of a non-scholarly source. We will discuss the rationale for this choice in class.
