As part of your final project, you will provide a critique of the research proposal for one of your peers, with the intent to assist your partner to improve his or her mixed methods research design:
1. Share your research project outline with your partner.
2. Read Table 1 from the Lesson 12 Course Notes and use criteria 1, 2, and 6 to critique your partner’s research project. (3 marks)
o Criterion 1: The Merit of Mixed Methods,
o Criterion 2: The Rationale for Using a Mixed Methods approach
o Criterion 6: Specification of the Type of Mixed Methods
1. Choose two other criteria from Table 1 in the Lesson 12 course notes to further evaluate your partner’s final project. In this question you could address as an example, criterion 3 (Literature Review) and criterion 7 (Data Collection and Analysis) from Table 1. (2 marks)
Provide your report to your peer, including strengths and weaknesses, and points to be considered for possible improvements of the research proposal. (3 marks)
Before you submit your Peer Review Report, ensure that it complies with the standards of academic writing: clear, accurate, with proper in-text citations and a list of references in APA style. (2 marks)
