In order to celebrate International Women’s day in 2017, Levis had organised “ # ShapeMyWorld’sCampaign”. The main aim of the campaign was to pay tribute the womanhood and criticizing the judgemental society, diversity, body shaming, female foeticide , gender and the societal norms and how the roles of women has evolved with time. While developing an advertisement campaign, it is essential to note the diversity of the target audience, such that the campaign is able to strike the cord, in order to get interested in the services and the products.

The main context of the campaign- The content of the campaign should be relevant to the aim of the campaign. It is necessary to identify the main message of the campaign or the real message that the company wants to say the customer. Identification of the niche market- In order to find out the niche market it is the necessary to identify the ideal customer of the target audience. Are they predominantly adolescent? What are their habits? Do they watch movies? How many of them goes to the gym.

At the first place one should define the advertising goals which would include finding of the new customers, reinforcing the brand awareness, launching of a new product, informing about the lesser known business. If one is in retail and is focussing on a small seasonal sale , then the window of the advertisement should have a narrow time window.
The next step will be to decide as what will be promoted in the advertisement campaign. Whether, it is product or a service or a group of services or a special event or a brand.
