They now wish to assess the viability of introducing one of those companies to a different country, outside of the UK, where they do not currently operate. The company CEO has asked you to work with two other marketing consultants to select a company one or more of you have researched, and present how it could successfully enter the target country.

The presentation will use the SOSTAC framework, to illustrate how this could be planned. Each element of SOSTAC should be applied separately, but a holistic overview needs to also be used so that each element is integrated within the company’s planned strategy. Each of you will lead on one of the three tasks, below.

Task one (Consultant one). Time allowed: five minutes.

Present the following SOSTAC elements:

Control

Finally; you will conclude the presentation by justifying why the country represents a viable target for this project.

Individual task completion: Content, structure and presentation style.

Group: Team dynamics, quality of content, and visuals.

In preparation it is suggested you follow these steps:

1)Select two other students to work with.

2)Discuss the companies you have featured in your interim assignment and select one to be used for this assignment.

3)Schedule time to meet to discuss the formatting and content of the presentation, as more marks will be given for having consistency.

4)Assign one of the three tasks to each participant.

5)Create a Basecamp or Google Docs account. This will help with remote project management of this assignment.
