Feedback on progression will take place in the seminar sessions. It is not practice to read drafts of work in progress, however you may discuss any relevant issues in the seminar slots.

Presentation of work and word count:
This work is an individual presentation. Your work should be produced using MS PowerPoint. The number of slides should not exceed 18 slides. You may add additional notes to slides. The word count should not exceed 1500 words (slides + additional notes excluding references). You are NOT required to include audio or video on your slides.
Support and guidance
In addition to weekly lectures, students will also attend seminar sessions. Lectures are designed to deliver the content and knowledge required for the assessments. Seminars provide students with additional content, practice, support and guidance.

MS Teams will also be used to support students throughout the module.
Birmingham City University has already gained an excellent reputation for its commitment to sustainability and the environment, and has received a EcoCampus platinum award for its implementation of an environmental management system.
The university is keen to develop further its sustainability credentials and is always looking for ways in which it can expand its portfolio of sustainability projects. As such they have asked BLSS students to develop a project idea and present their ideas to the Sustainability and Environment team using a PowerPoint presentation.
Students are to propose a project which will develop the universities existing sustainability credentials. Initially the proposal will include the following:
You may select a theme of your choice, but it should add something new to the universities existing sustainability strategy. The project should be costed, and a budget of £45000 should not be exceeded. You may wish to examine current trends and innovations in sustainability before you make a decision as to the theme of your project.
