You are required to produce an individual report demonstrating the link between the business environment of global network airlines and their operational choices.
In your report, you should describe and explain the business environment of an airline such as competition, market growth, market served, relationship with suppliers (such as airports, manufacturers or oil companies), etc…. You should then analyze the link between the business environment of the airline and their operational choices.
By operational choices we mean choice of base, routes, fleets, distribution or ticketing, alliance membership, cargo and luggage transport, ground handing, airport terminal operations etc.
You should use at least one strategic analysis frameworks to analyse the business environment of the airline: PESTEL, Industry Forces or Value Chain analysis, and show how operations influence the factors at play in those frameworks.
