Assessment brief:
Prepare a personal development portfolio which acknowledges the importance of academic and professional skills for your career in business and management. The portfolio should be presented in report format; you must identify and reflect on your approach to your personal learning and development, and the transferable skills you have already developed, or seek to develop during your academic studies, personal life and the workplace. Emphasis should be placed on the skills discussed during lectures.
Produce a personal development learning log and action plan that you will follow to develop your skills over the next 12 months. Your personal development plan must also include a CV.
The report must be appropriately referenced using the Harvard Referencing system.
Please note that the Learning Log, CV and action plan do not count towards the 1500-word requirement for the report. The action plan should be for the duration of your course.
Secondary Research Level HE4- It is expected that the Reference List will contain between five and ten sources. As a MINIMUM the Reference List should include one refereed academic journal and three academic books.
Additional Submission Instructions:
You are required to upload your PDP into the Turnitin link on Moodle. This will allow the tutors to provide you with feedback via Turnitin in written or audio format.
