Assessment Brief: In your role as a legal adviser, you have been approached by a multilingual organisation that is looking to establish part of their business in the UK. They are mindful that the legal framework in the UK is very different to the other countries they currently operate in and have asked you to write them a report focusing on the system and principles for law making in the UK. They have asked that your report is focused on the following Part 1: Classifications of law In part 1, you should: Define laws and identify the respective legal systems in the UK. Clearly explain with use of examples the following as means of classification of laws in the English Legal system; a) Civil Law, b) Criminal Law Explain the role of the following Courts in the English Legal system such as a) High Court, b) Supreme Court etc. Part 2: Source of law In part 2, you should: Explain Case Law as a source of laws.Explain the process of making Legislation Provide the meaning and examples of Delegated Legislation. Part 3: UK law making process Additionally, the report should contain some examples of how UK law making process have a direct impact on commercial organisations.
