Mini Project Workshops and Employability

1.How and why have the mini project workshops contributed towards the development of your employability?   Supporting Answer: (CV writing, Personal and Professional Development, concept of employability and Ideal Job)

2.Explaining your choices of the Portfolio contents to be submitted via Turnitin.  Supporting Answer: choices of the Portfolio contents in your own words ( explaining the reason of choosing 12 documents, brief information about all)

Note: Both above two questions should be in a single word document and will be submitted on LSST Connect.

Blackboard Portfolio Contents (selection of documents -12 documents minimum) Supporting Answer:

1.Role of communication and how you have developed/improved your communication skills (100-200 words)

2.What are your academic and professional objectives? 100-200 words

3.Develop an action or development plan to achieve your desired objectives  (100-200 words)

4.Reflections on how your project work meets the learning outcomes LO

5.Up to Date CV (Must mentioned the skills you have developed) (100-200 words)

6.Reflection on CV (Why all the information on the CV was necessary to mention) - (100-200 words)

7.A selection of reading logs (sources, books, journals, articles, web sources etc.) related to the projects- 100 words/ could be an image/picture

8.What is your ideal job after graduation ( Full detail of job, JD, Summary, title. Desired salary etc.)

9.Different available sources to find out job (i.e. employment agencies, job center plus, online, companies website, walk in center, job fairs etc.) – Role or advantages/disadvantages of each) (100-200 words)

10.What is employability and how to increase the chances of employability? i.e. by enhancing skills, which skills?

11.Photographs of work completed in class or typed up work from class (can be group photos of group presentation, your own notes, etc ) could be an image/picture

12.Role of higher education institution (LSST) with the context of your personal and professional development? 100-200

13.What is the role of academic writing in your studies? Sources of improving academic writing skills?

14.Tips to be successful in an interview (can be an image)

·There is no word count for these documents although it is anticipated that they should provide a minimum of 1500 words, or equivalent, in addition to the summary.

·Using the Learning Outcomes may help you to choose which documents to include.

2.Upload the documents to the relevant themed sections. – Will explain and guide.

3.Share a snapshot of the portfolio with your seminar lecturer. – Make collection of all 12 documents. After East Break, you are able to show me.
