Sport England Small Grants have been an important source of funding for many clubs and sport organisations, and although currently amended (Return to Play – Small Grants) to meet needs under COVID restrictions, Small Grants are likely to return in their previous form, or very similar, post pandemic. This assignment will require you to refer to the following two key documents from the original Small Grants application process (Both on Blackboard, under module materials) to undertake this assignment:
Select a sports club or organisation of your choice and help it to complete the Small Grants application successfully for a project that it would like to start or expand. You must ensure that the organisation and project satisfies the requirements for a small grant, and then prepare and submit responses to the following sections of the Small Grants Application Form (pages 7 – 9):
-Your Project description (up to100 words)
-Why is Your Project needed (up to 500 words)
-What difference will your project make (up to 500 words)
-How will you make it happen (up to 500 words)
-What will happen after the project ends (up to 500 words)
Note: Do not use the Sport England Small Grant application form for your submission, but instead assemble your responses to the above sections and submit as you would an essay or report assignment onto Blackboard.
