TM402 Professional Skills and Development

Throughout this module you have been given the opportunity to learn about good practice in reading and writing for academic and professional purposes and have been introduced to different skills, attributes and capabilities sought by employers in the air travel and tourism industries such as presentation skills and team-working competencies. This assignment is based on a journal of individual self-reflection and builds into a comprehensive personal review of the ‘journey’. You are required to submit: A) FOUR reflections on topics of your choice – topics must be selected from those discussed in class (2,300 words +/-10%) B) A Personal Development Plan (PDP) (200 words +/-10%) A PDP template is available on Blackboard and should be completed regularly showing what you have learned and how you intend to use the knowledge within the workplace and for your own development.
