You are free to choose any one of these topics for your presentation or any other Cardiovascular

You should aim to talk about a particular aspect of the disease you have selected, referring to three key research studies (three primary journal articles) that have contributed to our current knowledge of the subject.

You should talk through the papers – What was the aim of each study and how did they produce the results with the methods that they used. Importantly you must explain how each piece of research supports the conclusions made and how they contribute to the current knowledge of the subject.

It is recommended to show the link and the rational of selecting these particular papers.

You need to show your understanding of the study design, participants and protocols, and outcomes measured of the selected primary research.

Avoid having crowded and wordy slides, try to show data from the reviewed papers with references.

Avoid over describing the contents, remember level 7 require evaluation.

Do not include any historical facts- remember- level 7 detail and depth is key.

The module is focused on pathology of disease and diagnosis of disease so your presentation should focus on one of these aspects. You are able to present a topic of your choosing but you should check the topic is relevant with the module leader.
