Discuss and demonstrate an understanding of what it is to be a potential NMC registrant, showing an awareness of working within the NMC code and the values, attitudes and behaviours that are embedded within this

 

Brief explanation of the importance of upholding the NMC code as a potential nurse Discuss in more detail the issues identified as important in your introduction linking to the nmc code and the values and behaviours involved in this Consider how the care in the video upholds or contravenes with the professional values of nursing and midwifery and the NMC code What module theory (SRV, Professionalism etc.) and or evidence can you link in here?

Demonstrate an understanding and application of working within legal, ethical and professional requirements of an NMC registrant What are the legal, ethical, moral and professional requirements of a registered nurse? Reflect on how and where in the video these requirements where not upheld?
-    Explain why you feel these are significant and how the patients well-being and health could be affected if the care provided did not meet these requirements Area that was poor- link to nmc requirements  What are the implications of this is relation to poor care and its association with professional, legal and ethical perspectives which have been considered within this module.

Demonstrate the transferable skills and ability to think critically, apply knowledge and use evidence and experience to solve problems and make informed decisions Identify and explore possible actions which could be taken to improve the overall care provision for this patient and what your role as a student nurse would be. What standards should the care he/she receives by measured/benchmarked against If the care provided falls short of these standards what should the actions be?
