This assessment requires you to produce and present a mind-mapping visual board that demonstrates your understanding of health and social care organisation in the UK. This will form the basis of your mind-map power-point presentation and notes. The module has three learning objectives, of which this assessment and its assignment brief will focus on the second of these (see below).

L02 - Knowledge of the difference between types of services working at the national level and how the approach of each service could influence health and well-being policies.

1. Identify five (5) key national organisations that deliver health and social care in the UK.

2. Identify three (3) key pieces of legislation and policy that govern the delivery of health and social care within the nations of the UK.

3. Describe what each organisation does and how this contributes to the nation’s national health and well-being.

4. Present a mind-map visualisation with notes to show your knowledge of 1) 2) and 3).
