Assignment Title:
Individual presentation with narrated (audio) Power Points discussing “The concept and the process of globalisation”.
Assignment task:
You are tasked to prepare a 10 minutes presentation on the topic of globalisation.
You should critically discuss the following points:
1. Discuss the concept of globalisation and the brief history of the process, concentrating on the changes in the world economy since 1970s.

2. Critically discuss factors and developments which contributed to the process of globalisation. Assess how these factors and developments have impacted world economy.

3. Introduce an up-to-date economic profile of one selected country. Identify and evaluate the emerging economic challenges and opportunities presented by globalisation.
Specific technical and format instructions:
• Presentations should be produced using MS PowerPoint and each slight should contain an audio recording. Students are required to include their student ID in the first slide of their presentation.

• Each slide should contain a recording of your presentation (use PowerPoint recording option: Insert > Audio > Record Audio). Try not to read your slides, but rather use these to support your recorded presentation.
 
• The number of slides can vary but should not exceed 15 slides. You will be assessed based on the quality of your slides, the content and your presentation skills (see marking scheme for more details).
