For each day or part day up to five days after the published deadline, coursework relating to modules submitted late will have the numeric grade reduced by 10 grade points until or unless the numeric grade reaches 50.
If a submission is more than 5 days after the published deadline, a grade of zero will be awarded.
Where the numeric grade awarded for the assessment is less than 50, no lateness penalty will be applied
Critically discuss employee resistance and compliance to direct control and normative control in organisations. Consider this using research-based evidence of organisations in at least two different countries.

2.Discuss what is meant by control in the workplace. Approx. 400 words:

3.The UK Context.
Critically discuss the reasons for resistance and compliance to normative (used to co-opt employees) control and direct (used to coerce employees) control in the UK context.
This must be based on evidence, using sources based on this topic, which you cite in the essay.
Note on sources: You must do this using a minimum of FOUR sources from the module for this section. You should also use other sources.
4.The context in one other country. Approx. 800 words
Critically discuss the reasons for resistance and compliance to normative (used to co-opt employees) control and direct (used to coerce employees) control in one other country.
This discussion must be based on evidence using research that has focused on this topic.
This can be a country of your choice. It is advisable that it is a developing economy rather than a developed economy, but that is your choice.
During the module, you will read (independent study) and discuss (during tutorials) studies in different countries, but you can also find your own research-based studies and other sources.
