This unit will assess the capabilities of the student to explain the need (i.e., background and issues) for strategic change in an organization, as well as develop and evaluate a change management plan. This assessment will apply change management theories to meet the requirements and expectations of each learning outcomes of the course.
You are the Senior Manager of a company of your choice. Attempt the following tasks:
Use appropriate methods to evaluate strategic change management required to achieve strategic goals (What and Why)
Apply models of strategic change to assess the issues that might arise based on the strategic direction of the organisation and the implications of those issues on the company
Develop strategies to overcome the strategic change issues and recommend a company-wide strategic change management plan
Select a department within the company and apply appropriate personal development plan to assist your supervisees to manage the change
Construct a strategic change management monitoring system to ensure successful ongoing change
Evaluate the impact of your own learning styles against the achievement of the strategic change management plan
Assignments should be approximately 3000 to 3500 words in length, using fonts Times New Roman or Arial, 12 as font size and 1 ½ spacing.
The work must be referenced using the 'American Psychological Association (APA)’ format. The in-text citations in the main body of the text and the reference list do not count towards the word limit. The format of the assignment should follow post-graduate standards. A likely report structure would be:
